Office Policies

Dr. Canepa is completely committed to personalized dental care. That is why we never double book appointments. When we schedule you in our office, your appointment time is reserved just for you. While we understand that unforeseen circumstances occasionally arise, we ask that you give us at least 48 business hours notice if you need to change an appointment. After missing two appointments without 48 hours notice, you may be subject to a $35 rebooking fee.

Insurance Coverage

We are a preferred provider for many Delta Dental plans, and we are out-of-network for other plans, including but not limited to Aetna, Medical Mutual, MetLife, Cigna, Anthem BC/BS, Guardian, and United Healthcare.

We always do our best to estimate treatment costs accurately. Sometimes, however, costs may vary. It is always important to keep in mind that an estimate of benefits is just that – an estimate. Insurance companies have constantly changing policies and coverage. As a courtesy, we will bill insurance companies for your treatment, minus any co-pay or uncovered portions of treatment. We allow them 45 days to render payment. After that, you will be responsible for payment in full.

We will provide you with a treatment estimate prior to beginning any dental work and work with you to determine your out-of-pocket expenses because we know that no one likes surprises when it comes to their finances.
